Welcome to Hut of Hope Counselling and Therapeutic Services, I’m Danielle.

I am an Integrativly trained counsellor, in other words, by using a variety of therapeutic approaches and theories together we can tailor the therapy specifically to your individual need. I work with both young people from the age of 11 and adults.

Together we can create a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space to explore and use various techniques to help you, the client, make sense of your world. Our therapeutic relationship aims to enable you to experience a genuine and caring relationship with me, where you can reach a deeper level of understanding about who you are, as well as the experiences and relationships you have. Counselling can help you gain an understanding of why you feel and respond the way you do, give you tools to manage things differently and empower you to find your way to have the life you want.

As well as talking therapy we can incorporate play, art and creativity within the therapeutic space in order to support self-expression and make sense of feelings and behaviours no matter your age and background.  I have experience in working with concerns around attachment, developmental trauma, addiction, metal health concerns and neurodiversity.

I also have experience working with those with addiction and those who support them specifically those in the construction industry. Those who have experienced childhood trauma and those with brain injuries.

BACP and NCPS registered.

Sessions

I offer an initial session at £35, this is to complete an assessment and ensure that I am the right therapist for you. Sessions after the introduction session start at £50.
